Optimise your whole back-catalogue at scale

Most channels sit on dozens of older videos with weak metadata that quietly under-perform. Fixing them one by one is tedious, so it never happens — and the lost views compound. Bulk optimisation solves that by letting you improve titles, descriptions and tags across many videos at once.

This tool applies SEO improvements to your catalogue in bulk, so you can lift the discoverability of your entire library in one focused session instead of neglecting it forever.

How to use this tool

  1. 1

    Connect your channel

Authorise access so the tool can read and update your videos.

  2. 2

    Scan for weaknesses

Identify videos with weak or missing SEO signals across the catalogue.

  3. 3

    Apply bulk fixes

Improve titles, descriptions and tags across many videos at once.

  4. 4

    Review the impact

Track how impressions and clicks respond over the following weeks.

How the result is calculated

This runs the same metadata checks as the single-video audit across your whole catalogue, then asks a language model to rewrite the weakest fields. Videos are fetched from the YouTube API in batches of 50 — the API’s own per-request limit — and then processed one at a time rather than in parallel, which is slower but avoids the rate limiting that would silently drop videos from a large run.

The scoring half is deterministic: title length bands, description length and links, tag count, category assignment. The rewriting half is a model, so the suggested titles and descriptions differ between runs even for the same video.

Nothing is written back to YouTube until you approve it. Applying changes costs one credit per video, charged only for videos actually updated.

How to read the result

Work from the severity ranking, not from the top of the list. A video missing tags entirely gains more from a fix than one whose title is four characters outside the ideal band.

Judge each suggestion against the video, not against the score. The rewrite is optimising metadata signals and has not watched your video — a more accurate title that scores slightly lower is the better choice.

Changing the titles of videos that currently draw steady traffic carries real risk. A title change resets the packaging that traffic was built on.

What this tool cannot tell you

  • —It cannot tell which videos are worth fixing. A perfectly optimised video nobody searches for stays unfound.
  • —It does not see per-video click-through rate or retention, so it cannot tell a genuinely weak title from a strong one attached to a niche topic.
  • —Bulk changes across a catalogue are hard to attribute afterwards. Applying them in smaller batches keeps the effect readable.

Tips & best practices

  • ✓Start with videos that already get impressions but few clicks — the fastest wins.
  • ✓Keep keyword themes consistent so your catalogue reinforces your niche to the algorithm.
  • ✓Refresh titles and thumbnails together on older hits for the biggest revival effect.
  • ✓Do not spam keywords — bulk does not mean careless; each fix must still read naturally.
  • ✓Re-scan after a few weeks to confirm improvements and catch anything missed.

Frequently asked questions

Can optimising old videos really help?+

Yes. Videos that already receive impressions often gain clicks and reach when their titles, descriptions and tags improve, because the platform re-evaluates them with stronger signals.

Is bulk SEO safe for my channel?+

Yes, as long as the changes are genuine improvements that read naturally. The risk is keyword stuffing — bulk editing should raise quality, not sacrifice it for volume.

Where should I start?+

With videos that get impressions but low click-through. Small metadata fixes there produce the quickest, most measurable gains.
